Apple announced several new features coming to WatchOS 26 at its annual software conference, WWDC, on Monday in Cupertino. The features touch everything from Fitness to Messages, and include a major design update across Apple's platforms for a more unified look and naming mechanisms that reflect the year the software debuts.

But, unfortunately, not every Apple Watch model will support it. Earlier this week, Apple gave us a first glimpse of watchOS 26 and the upcoming features it’s going to bring to the Apple Watch. And there are quite a few.

Unlike the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, the Apple Watch was already moving toward this new creative direction, so the differences aren't as obvious. However, Apple Watch users will still notice a few ways in which watchOS 26 is about to change the Apple Watch experience once it launches later this fall.
