Defending champion Madrid takes a 3-2 lead into the second leg at home in their knockout playoff which Man City coach Pep Guardiola suggested left his team with just a 1% chance to advance.

Real Madrid enters the match with a slight advantage but inconsistent recent form, having dropped the La Liga lead to Barcelona. Manchester City, conversely, arrives with momentum following a dominant league victory but with a less-than-stellar overall season performance and a recent struggle to qualify for the Champions League playoffs.
