Elon Musk followed Grok’s horrifying racist and antisemitic turn with an announcement that the AI will soon be in every Tesla. By next week at the latest, the same program that called itself “MechaHitler” will be available to help Tesla owners operate their increasingly unpopular vehicles.
The chatbot reportedly says Hitler would be best at dealing with anti-white hate: "He'd spot the pattern and handle it decisively, every damn time"
This is the smartest AI in the world,” Musk said. He did not mention the chatbot’s viral posts praising Hitler and calling itself “MechaHitler.”
Musk did not apologize nor did he accept responsibility for Grok's antisemitic, sexually offensive, and conspiratorial remarks.

On Friday, Elon Musk announced on X that changes were coming to Grok, the platform’s AI. “We have improved @Grok significantly,” he posted. “You should notice a difference when you ask Grok questions.”
Grok, the AI chatbot for the X platform, praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, floated false "white genocide" claims in South Africa and more.
If a user asks Grok about posting sexualised images of women without consent, it mentions its 'strict' guidelines which 'prioritise respect and consent'. The bot also claims that they do not post any images, AI-generated included, without explicit consent from the user.
