The National Hurricane Center continued Sunday to assess a tropical wave moving across the Atlantic with a chance to develop into the season’s next tropical depression or storm.

While the National Hurricane Center's map is lit up with a tropical disturbance, Saturday's forecast is much more about the heat index.

The chances for a scattered area of showers and thunderstorms to develop into something more increased overnight, but remain low, forecasters said.
