The world's most visited museum is also overcrowded, antiquated and desperate for renovations that will start next year and include separate space and tickets for Mona Lisa.

PARIS, Jan 29 (Bernama-dpa) -- The "Mona Lisa" is to get its own new room at the Louvre art museum in Paris, allowing it to be shown off to even better advantage for visitors, reported German Press Agency (dpa).

The renovation announcement comes after concerns over water leaks and other damages were expressed by the museum’s director earlier this month.
