A bill to make Erie County its own judicial district passed the State Assembly on Thursday as lawmakers rejected a request by the state court system to delay the proposal until next year.

The order takes effect at noon Friday. It said the deployment violated the Tenth Amendment and exceeded Trump's statutory authority.
