The long-awaited arctic blast has made it to Alabama, and it could make for some very hazardous roadways overnight into Monday. In fact the National Weather Service was warning those in northern Alabama to avoid traveling if possible, and a new winter weather advisory has been issued for the region that will be in effect until 1 a.m. Monday.
