Police have arrested 28-year-old elementary school teacher Andrew James McGann for the murders of Cristen and Clinton Brink.

McGann “was completely cooperative” during the arrest, Arkansas State Police Major Stacie Rhoads said Thursday.

The parents were attacked while hiking at Devil's Den State Park with their two daughters, aged 7 and 9, on Saturday.

Andrew James McGann was arrested after a days-long manhunt on two counts of capital murder in the killings of Clinton and Cristen Brink at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas.

"Clinton and Cristen died heroes protecting their little girls, and they deserve justice," the Brink family said.
