Jazz Chisholm Jr. enjoyed his return to the New York Yankees from an oblique injury immensely and did it as a third baseman.

Jazz Chisholm Jr. hit a tiebreaking home run in his return from a month on the injured list as the Yankees beat the Guardians to win their 11th in 14 games.

Chisholm was slotted at third base despite opening the year at his natural position, second base, to accommodate teammate DJ LeMahieu, who had recently returned from his own injury. When Chisholm began his rehab stint in the minors, the Yankees asked him to move to third base to prepare and he made a strong pronouncement in response.
