As OTA's are continuing, Pitts is currently sidelined with what appears to be a muscle strain on his foot. Many people were thinking he was holding out amid trade rumors, but an injury is currently holding him back from joining the Falcons for OTA's.

Pitts has yet to participate in OTAs, which was initially unexplained by head coach Raheem Morris. On Tuesday, Adam Schefter revealed the reason for his absence. “While there has been speculation about his future in Atlanta, Falcons TE Kyle Pitts hasn’t been practicing at OTAs due to a strained muscle in his foot, per source,” Schefter wrote.
