The Philadelphia Eagles released cornerback Darius Slay shortly after the team's Super Bowl win, and the Steelers immediately showed interest in the six-time Pro Bowler. Pittsburgh signed Slay to a one-year, $10 million deal on March 12. Slay will join a Steelers' defense already filled with star power.

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Williams has retired from the NFL. The Los Angeles Chargers placed Williams on the physically unable to perform list to begin training camp, but Williams has decided to call it quits.

Drivers who are caught using or parking in the new red bus lanes in Downtown Pittsburgh will be ticketing starting on Sunday. Pittsburgh Regional Transit says that officers with the Port Authority Police have been giving drivers verbal warnings since the lanes, which are for buses and emergency vehicles only, since they were installed last month.

Pittsburgh Steelers star defender Cam Heyward was not a fan of Aaron Rodgers's drawn-out free agency and publicly said as much while it was happening. Which could've made things awkward when Rodgers finally agreed to become Heyward's teammate. But to hear the star defender tell it, that hasn't happened at all.
