A panel rejected a lower court’s finding that it was most likely illegal for President Trump to use state troops to protect immigration agents from protests.

Eight of CalGuard's 14 firefighting crews — known as Task Force Rattlesnake — have been deployed to Los Angeles as part of Trump's federalization of the Guard, according to Gov. Gavin Newsom.

The ruling highlighted that before the deployment, protesters were reported to have 'pinned down' federal officers and thrown dangerous objects at them.
