Ancelotti took charge of Madrid in June 2021 for his second spell at the club after resigning from Premier League side Everton.

It was confirmed on Monday that he would be leaving to join Brazil, a day after the team lost their fourth Clasico of the season for only the second time in their history.

Madrid will end it without having won any of the traditional major titles — the Champions League, La Liga or the Copa del Rey — and a summer of major change awaits.
