AHL: San Jose Barracuda play Ontario Reign at Toyota Arena and Coachella Valley Firebirds at Acrisure Arena this weekend

The San Jose Sharks are ready to resume their season and they are bringing two young players with them from the AHL. Forward Collin Graf and Defenceman Jack Thompson have been recalled from the San Jose Barracuda.

San Jose Sharks goalie of the future Yaroslav Askarov suffered a lower-body injury in his start for the San Jose Barracuda on Wednesday.

Yaroslav Askarov has an injury. Askarov left Wednesday’s San Jose Barracuda-Ontario Reign game midway through the first period, after giving up three goals on 14 shots.

San Jose Barracuda forward Thomas Bordeleau has been suspended one game for a cross-check he delivered to Colorado Eagles forward Chris Wagner. The incident occurred in the first period of the game on Feb. 12 in which Colorado beat San Jose 5-2. Bordeleau was assessed a five minute major for cross-checking, as well as a 10 minute game misconduct.
