Spectrum officials blamed vandalism for recent outages that have affected parts of Ventura and Los Angeles counties. The downed lines then caused temporary outages for residents and businesses.

Spectrum customers in parts of Los Angeles and Ventura counties lost network access Sunday, June 15, after at least one person cut service lines in Van Nuys, the company said. Internet, cable and home phone services were affected.
