Cambodia's central bank has said it placed a bank operated by an alleged mastermind of a massive scam syndicate under liquidation.
Prince Bank, owned by tycoon Chen Zhi, was liquidated in Cambodia while he was imprisoned in China. On January 8th, the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) announced the liquidation of Prince Bank, owned by tycoon Chen Zhi, Chairman of the Prince Group. Phnom Penh Post Report the news.
Chen Zhi has been indicted by the United States over a multibillion-dollar fraud and is accused of directing alleged cyberscams run by hundreds of trafficked workers in Cambodia.
