The FDA has approved the first at-home device for cervical cancer screening to test for HPV. HPV is the cause of nearly all cervical cancers. Screenings to identify cancer risk are recommended every three years for women over 21.

The Teal Wand is an at-home vaginal self-collection device intended to test for 14 types of high-risk HPV that have the highest risk for causing cervical cancer.
