Marvel Rivals gives fans their first look at gameplay for the upcoming Duelist Human Torch in NetEase Games' popular hero shooter.

Hot off the news that NetEase just layed off the US support team for the ridiculously successful Marvel Rivals, the marketing machine continues to roll forward relentlessly. Get a look at both Human Torch and The Thing in gameplay reveal trailers, as well as an overview of the upcoming Central Park map, set to arrive on 21st February on PS5.

While his release in early April isn’t guaranteed, the timing makes sense. NetEase has committed to introducing a new Marvel Rivals hero every six weeks, and with The Thing and Human Torch launching on February 21, an April 11 release for Blade would align perfectly with that schedule.

Two new heroes, battle pass changes, baffling layoffs for US-based developers, and a tease for what players assume will be a future hero. Couched at the end of a trailer for Rivals' new Central Park map is a four-second shot of a snarling Blade.
