LEMONT, IL — Lemont High School has tabbed 977 students with either Honor Roll or High Honor Roll distinction for the second semester of the 2024-25 school year, the school shared in a news release.

Lincoln High School had 419 graduates that crossed the stage on May 20, shaking hands with Principal Allen Burch, Leon County Schools Superintendent Rocky Hanna and others along the way.

Benet transfer Gabriel Sularski, the state’s top senior basketball player, is leaving Lemont for Layton Christian in Utah.

Godby High School had 297 graduates that crossed the stage on May 22, shaking hands with Principal Desmond Cole and Superintendent Rocky Hanna along the way.

The Orange City Schools now has an official Lion logo that can be used districtwide. It was approved Monday by the Orange Board of Education.

School Board attorney David Hollenbeck said to the best of his knowledge, the Viking logo has been the symbol of the Minnesota Vikings since the franchise was created in 1960.
