The military exchanges worsened between Israel and Iran overnight on Monday as strikes hit residential areas, killing and wounding civilians on both sides.

Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) claimed to intercept over 100 Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) launched by Iran in the conflict which began with Israel launching its 'Operation Rising Lion', a massive aerial offensive at key Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure,

Israel bombarded Tehran, the Iranian capital, with a new wave of strikes on Sunday afternoon, as both sides dismissed international calls to de-escalate the conflict and warned of more to come in a clash that is rapidly expanding in scope and intensity.
