A night of gun violence in the Toronto area has led to the deaths of two men, prompting homicide probes by both Toronto police and Peel Regional Police.

Three teenage boys were shot in Toronto on Friday night, Toronto police said. The incident happened around 10:40 p.m. near Jones and Strathcona avenues, police said in a post on X on Friday.
