Amazon CEO Andy Jassy says that as the company unveils its next generation of Alexa, Alexa+, powered by generative artificial intelligence, it is keeping customers' privacy top of mind.

The new hardware will go along with Amazon’s AI-upgraded Alexa. Amazon is gearing up to launch new hardware to go along with its AI-upgraded Alexa. During an interview with Bloomberg, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy said the company has a “brand new lineup of devices that are coming in the fall that are beautiful.”

Amazon is aiming to catch up in generative artificial intelligence and to reboot its virtual assistant, which has been leapfrogged by powerful chatbots.

Amazon.com. Inc will release companion devices in the fall for the artificially intelligent version of the Alexa voice assistant, Chief Executive Officer Andy Jassy said in an interview with Bloomberg Television.

Alexa+, as it will now be called, is powered by generative AI and promises to work seamlessly with the many apps and services its customers use every day, all with the sound of your voice.
