The Trump administration sent termination notices on Thursday to more than 500,000 migrants enrolled in a Biden-era parole program for migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. The Department of Homeland Security officials confirmed that notices had been sent to program enrollees that their work authorizations and paroles were revoked,

The agency said it is also revoking their work permits.

President Donald Trump's administration has proposed repealing rules passed under former President Joe Biden to curb emissions of carbon dioxide, mercury and other air pollutants from power plants, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin said on Wednesday.

The Trump administration moved Wednesday to erase limits on greenhouse gases from power plants and to weaken restrictions on their other hazardous emissions, including mercury, arsenic and lead.

Environmental groups slammed the proposal, saying it would cost more than that in damage to the environment and public health.
