And given Purdy's attendance at this week's offseason program and the lack of QB interest in the draft, the 49ers have signaled one thing: Purdy will be getting paid. Purdy is likely going to get a deal in the six-year, $300 million range, which would come out to $50 million per season.

Per The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Purdy and the 49ers are "inching closer" to working out a long-term deal that will make him one of the 10 highest-paid players in the NFL by average annual salary.

“The San Francisco 49ers and Brock Purdy are inching closer to a long-term extension, according to sources close to the situation. The contract is expected to include an average annual value that ranks in the top 10 in the NFL (and at Purdy’s position),” Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported.
