The idea came after memes circulated online about people — specifically Maroon 5's Adam Levine at the 2019 Super Bowl — being "tatted like a Chipotle bag."

Chipotle's Friday the 13th promotion caused long lines at the Old Dominion University restaurant, as customers with tattoos waited for a buy-one-get-one entrée deal.
