Louisiana State University are national champions of college baseball for the second time in three years. The Tigers defeated Coastal Carolina 5-3 on Sunday to sweep the College World Series finals.

The Tigers won their eighth national title in program history in a 5-3 win over Coastal Carolina in the second game of the College World Series finals.

Two players were named to the All-College World Series team as a result after their only two losses in Omaha were to LSU, who won the finals over Coastal Carolina in two straight games.
