The hit medical sitcom “Scrubs” seems to be getting a reboot, and its original stars are dropping heavy hits they are on board.

Variety reported in December that the new iteration was in early development at Disney-owned ABC. “Scrubs” debuted in 2001 on NBC, where it aired for seven seasons before moving to ABC for its final two.

The "Scrubs" reboot was reported to be in development last year with Zach Braff returning as Sacred heart doctor J.D., but now Variety reports that the sitcom has been ordered straight-to-series by ABC for the 2025-2026 season.
