High school lacrosse player dies after on-field injury, community mourns
BAY VILLAGE, Ohio — 3News has learned that Dylan Veselic, a Bay High School boys lacrosse player, has died after suffering a head injury during a varsity game at Olmsted Falls Tuesday night. Bay High School confirmed his death to 3News on Thursday morning. The following statement was released from the Veselic family:
The Bay Village City School District confirmed to 3News that Friday’s boys lacrosse game against Clay, which was scheduled for 6 p.m., has been canceled.
