The Texas Longhorns suffered an embarrassing 35-10 loss to the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens on Saturday, seeing their College Football Playoff hopes essentially evaporate in the process.

For the first time ever, the No. 10 Texas Longhorns are in Athens to face the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs between the hedges at Sanford Stadium on Saturday.

Then again, it has already been too late once, a 24-21 loss to Alabama, even though the Bulldogs were 2.5-point home favorites.

The Texas Longhorns seem to be finding themselves as they travel to No. 5 Georgia in a must-win to keep their playoff hopes in good standings.
