The electric Pokemon's DJ set is happening now until the Pokemon Presents begins at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET, and he's spinning Pokemon-themed music while a timer counts down to the exact start of the show. The set started slowly, with a lone Pikachu falling asleep in front of the DJ booth, but the star has since taken the stage.

Pokémon Friends is essentially Big Brain Academy with pocket monsters. Each day, players get a set of three puzzles that can be quickly solved with touch controls and gyroscope support in some cases.

Announced during today's Pokemon Presents, it has loads of cute puzzles and honestly, the simplicity does make me yearn for the earlier days of smart technology when you could just play a game that had all of one mechanic on your phone for a bit without a million adverts popping up.

It feels like such a long time since we had any big Pokémon news. Back in February we had our last chunk of information about this year’s Switch game, Pokémon Legends: Z-A, but since then all has been tremendously quiet.
