An 80-year-old man on his way to work mistakenly drove his Mercedes-Benz sedan down Rome's famous Spanish Steps.

Footage provided by police shows the 80-year-old man inching down the famed 135-step staircase before getting stuck halfway down. The car was later hoisted out by crane.
