Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei, ex-husband of actress Barbie Hsu, is reportedly facing NT$4.5 billion (US$137 million) in debt alongside emotional turmoil following her death at 49.

Barbie Hsu’s family has reportedly agreed to let her two children move to Beijing to live with their biological father, Wang Xiaofei, after the Taiwanese actress passed away at 49.

Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei has reportedly severed ties with his mother, restaurant entrepreneur Zhang Lan, for implicating him in controversies following the death of his ex-wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu. In a WeChat update on Feb 9, Wang, 43, posted a photo of his mother, saying he could no longer support her.

Critics accused Chinese business man Wang Xiaofei of using the death of his ex-wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu, to portray himself as a devoted former husband and potentially stake a claim to her assets.
