Manuel Obafemi Akanji (Swiss Standard German pronunciation: [ˈmaː.nu.ɛl aˈkan.dʒi]; born 19 July 1995) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays as a defender for Premier League club Manchester City and the Switzerland national team.
