Today in “Laverne & Shirley” herstory… November 8, 1977: “Cruise: Part 1” airs. This was the first two-part episode of the series. When the girls are strapped for cash to pay for their cruise around the Great Lakes, they take on a retail job at J&J (Jack & Jill) Shoe Store. As always, chaos ensues.
