The new Aged Care Act begins on 1 November 2025. It puts older people at the centre of their care. It gives them the right to make decisions, feel safe and connect with their community. The new system will be stronger, safer and fairer for everyone. If you or a loved one is receiving aged care, you don’t need to do anything.
