Man, we have lost a true legend. Along with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, Thom Bell created what would be known as the Sound of Philadelphia. Bell was a prolific songwriter, producer, arranger. He gave us so many hits during the 70s and 80s; his songs were all over the radio. The Delfonics, Stylistics, Spinners, Deniece Williams and James Ingram are just some of the artist that had huge hits produced by Bell. He was inducted into The Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2006.
