We can’t forget who won The Masters in 1986 but let’s revisit the comeback story. Jack Nicklaus was 46 years old and hadn’t won’t a major in six years. The field was stacked and most expected him to be there for a ceremonial weekend, not to actually contend. He was down four strokes as he started the Par 5 15th.
