🦢 *The Swan* (*Le Cygne*) is the most famous movement from *The Carnival of the Animals*, composed by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886. Though the full suite was originally meant as a private, humorous piece for friends, Saint-Saëns allowed *The Swan* to be published during his lifetime because of its beauty and poignancy. Originally written for cello and two pianos, this lyrical meditation captures the elegance and quiet strength of a swan gliding across water. I’ve created a solo piano arrangement
