We moved the American flamingos from the Children’s Zoo to the Aquatic Bird House to join the flock there in heated quarters for the winter. The flamingos’ long legs and necks and broad wingspan can make handling them tricky. Our staff demonstrates patience and skill both in catching and carrying the birds.
