It's National Children’s Book Week, and to celebrate it, now seems like a wonderful time to talk about Hamiltonian Robert McCloskey, and the museum dedicated to him here in Hamilton. McCloskey was an author and illustrator who was the first two-time Caldecott Medal award winner for best children's book of the year. His first book, Lentil, draws inspiration in its illustrations from buildings around Hamilton. He is best known for his award winning books Make Way For Ducklings and Time of Wonder.
